For many years, Never Ending Food has been running an internship programme which has been training young people in Permaculture Design. Participants of this programme are generally hand-selected from our local community, based on their willingness to learn and demonstration of Permaculture ideas at their own homes. The length of the internships varies, but generally the participants go through the internationally recognized Permaculture Design Course (PDC) over the course of several months to two years. This allows them a chance to implement hands-on practicals in a safe and risk-free environment. We also try to train them not only as Permaculture practitioners, but also as Permaculture trainers. By the end of their time with us, all interns receive a Certificate in Permaculture Design and then we try to assist them with finding work outside of Never Ending Food which allows them to utilize their new skills. Several of our interns have gone on to do consultancies, work for development organizations, assist private land-owners with site designs, and even create training institutions of their own.

Due to the fact that many of these interns are giving of their time, conducting tours, and assisting Never Ending Food with many of the day-to-day management tasks, we try to offer them a small stipend to cover their expenses. If you would like to donate to help us cover the expenses of continuing this internship programme, please click on the PayPal link below.
